Each year the Low Pay Commission (LPC) seek feedback on the future of National Living Wage (NLW) and National Minimum Wage (NMW) rates.
The CIPP assist in the research by hosting think tanks, attended by several LPC commissioners, so that our members can have their voice heard regarding he future of NMW.
This year, we hosted two sessions, the first coving the NMW rates and impacts of the recent rises to NLW as well as the changes to the NLW age threshold. The second session focussed on the interaction between NMW rates and salary sacrifice, and you had a lot to say about that, unsurprisingly, there is much said about that in our consultation response.
